		<description>Well companies need to start to consider &quot;social damage limitation&quot; or as I have termed it &quot;social media protection&quot; (proof of concept) which is a move away from mere word of mouth or buzz marketing but more focussed on brand reputation. That&#039;s where the Social Media Mafia is operating.

Because &quot;discussions&quot; spring-up in multiple channels, brands will need (they already do) skilled moderators that can jump-in and stimulate the noise, and facilitate balance, like a chairman at a conference. 

PR can no longer focus merely on the positive, when negatives are brought to the table, they need to be addressed now (IF the channel is considered well presented by numbers, many are not yet of course, but many are).</description>
