Glad you raised it. Loic did a sensible thing – streaming on Seesmic would have been silly. Great idea to stream it on ustream for those who could not attend. I attended LeWeb and the paying visitors had a very different real life experience to those watching the stream. I thought the inclusive gesture for those who could attend was great.

Finally! Some sense injected in reference Seesmic and uStream. Loic’s idea is brilliant – and having LeWeb08 broadcasted via uStream is another wise move if you can’t get say CNN/Fox {leave politics alone!} or Publicis to stream the event live ‘online’.

I think Allen wrote in the hopes of asking or maybe inciting conversation amongst his readers – the fact that could ‘improve’ Seesmic in the future, so to speak.

We learn from weaknesses, and strengths.

It would be nice to view-in the events with the Community buzzing about it on Seesmic, rather than on Twitter tho’.

the difference between the two is so trivial that I’m surprised that some technology bloggers even debate about it.

and by the way, uStream is such a great service and performance wise it exceeded all expectations both at LeWeb and the last Techcrunch event.
