Pravda on Media, Technology, and Rebel Filmmaking

Any blogger’s event in Israel is a cause for celebration - especially one that is dedicated to Wrodpress, my choice for the best blogging platform out there.

I am participating in a panel about blogs and business - and as always it will be more of a discussion than a regular panel.

The vlogging industry is young.  As such, sharing ideas and lessons learned are keys for success.

I’ve taken upon myself an ambitious mission - to map all Vloggers’ online forums and groups. At the end of the process I will publish an OPML file for the community, that will help all us keep in touch and meet new people.

The first two groups on my list are:

1. Yahoo! Vloggers group - active community with  a lot of insights to the industry

2. Facebook Internet TV group - international group with 240 members

How can you contribute?

Where do you hang out and exchange ideas? What are the most important forums in Europe and the Far East?

After the brainstorming in Podcamp Europe about how to increase internet TV viewership, I was concerned with ways to continue the discussion while not in a face to face event.

Couple of great things happened soon after:

• Several bloggers wrote their opinions and got amazing comments (see this post for more details).
• Chris Brogan had his 100 comments project around a similar topic - don’t forget to visit and comment on his post.

In order to continue the conversation I am proud to announce the opening of a new Facebook group titled Internet TV, Vbloggers and media disruptors.
The aim of the group is continue discussions about key issues of the industry such as monetization, production tips, content marketing, industry perspectives and everything that is important to the community.

It is a group where YOU create the conversation - so get involved and present your ideas and dilemmas!

We are planning to use this group as a hub to additional activities such as Skypecasts, group chats etc. If you have ideas on how to increase involvement and create additional value through this group - email me, or better yet - write it on the group’s wall.

The group is open to all Facebook members - if you are not there yet, it now allows everyone to register.

1. You can now get all the information via RSS or email with full posts.

2. You can now find this blog under the domain www.pravdam.com - no need to go to wordpress domain anymore.

3. Some posts have a digg button - feel free to… mmm… digg them! You can also find relevant Technorati tags at the end of the posts, and can add this blog to your Technorati favorite by pressing the Technorati logo on the right sidebar. All posts are bookmarked in del.icio.us. Feel free to do the same, by pressing the bookmark button on the far right side bar.

5. Instead of a lengthy category list, you can find all categories in a cloud. Also, I am in a process of dividing all tags to main categories:
